Sadhguru Reveals Near-Death Experience and What Led to Second Brain Surgery

 Spiritual leader and Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev recently opened up about the shocking incident that led to his second brain surgery in March 2024. In a personal video shared on Instagram titled  ‘Sadhguru’s Second Brain Surgery – Undisclosed Details’ , the 67-year-old described how a seemingly minor accident became life-threatening. He recounted an incident involving a monkey while he was swimming with his daughter. A monkey approached their house, trying to enter for fruit. His daughter shouted to scare it away, but the monkey charged at her. Instinctively trying to protect her, Sadhguru rushed inside to grab a stick but accidentally slammed his head into a closed glass door at full speed. Bollywood Director Rahul Khan Wins Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award 2021, Expresses His Gratitude


 Rahul Khan is a youth Bollywood film director who hails from Uttar Pradesh. At a very young age, Khan came to the city of dreams, Mumbai, to fulfil his cinematic goals. From working as an assistant director for various shows to making video songs and films, the filmmaker has come a long way. Some of his known work includes Maa, Disco Nights and Karmaphal Daata Shani (AD). Recently, the director was honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award 2021.


Bollywood film director Rahul Khan won the Best   Debut Director award at Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award 2021 for his film Beti Hindustan Ki. The film has a strong social message about the life of Kinnars in our society. Beti Hindustan Ki star cast includes Faisal Khan, Israr Sabri, Manoj Bakshi, Bobby Kumar, Sandra David, Aakib Khan, Heena Adhikari, Akshay Dhanka, Eram Khan, Priyank Kumar, King Smokey

Beti Hindustan Ki director Rahul Khan has expressed his happiness about winning the award. Khan says, "I'm very happy that I got the Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award for my first film. It's a dream of every actor or director to win this award. I've achieved my first dream with this award. I would like to thank Akhilesh Singh who informed me about this honour and praised me for my social film that I made at such a young age. I feel proud of myself and want to thank my parents who always supported my dream. It's a struggle of 11 years that you has finally paid off."


Khan further adds, "It's a huge award in Bollywood. I will always keep making such good movies that give an impactful message to the society. Again, I would like to thank my parents, my grandfather and elder brother who always believed in my dreams. My elder brother Faisal Khan lives in the USA but he has always been a great support in my career. The award has become more special because I got it on the same day when Faisal Khan got honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award 2021 in the category of International Actor & Producer. I'm quite elated.

 Amid ongoing India–US trade discussions, India's Commerce Ministry has opposed a clause proposed by the United States that would prevent India from reintroducing digital taxes like the equalisation levy in the future. This development comes as India attempts to ease US concerns over high tariffs and show willingness to cooperate on trade reforms. In March 2025, the Indian government had suggested removing the equalisation levy on digital ads as part of the Finance Bill amendments.
