Sadhguru Reveals Near-Death Experience and What Led to Second Brain Surgery

 Spiritual leader and Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev recently opened up about the shocking incident that led to his second brain surgery in March 2024. In a personal video shared on Instagram titled  ‘Sadhguru’s Second Brain Surgery – Undisclosed Details’ , the 67-year-old described how a seemingly minor accident became life-threatening. He recounted an incident involving a monkey while he was swimming with his daughter. A monkey approached their house, trying to enter for fruit. His daughter shouted to scare it away, but the monkey charged at her. Instinctively trying to protect her, Sadhguru rushed inside to grab a stick but accidentally slammed his head into a closed glass door at full speed. Visica production launched with announcement of slate of Films and Web series


  Mumbai : A grand launch of production house “Visica Films" had been organised in Mumbai  followed by the press conference and announcement of the films which will be produced and released by banner. C B Kulkarni is the Managing Director of Visica Films and Charan Suvarna is the Director of Visica Films.

Starting with the announcement of the Saajan Chale Sasural 2, the sequel of 1996 Govinda, Karishma starrer  Blockbuster film Saajan Chale Sasural, Sarojini- Biopic of Sarojini Naidu, released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, an Experimental Hindi Film Hide & Seek, a Hindi OTT Film-Geeta Govinda, a Kannada-Hindi film Bhairava and Redrum.

C B Kulkarni is also the founder of Caru OTT.Caru OTT has overcome many obstacles and has  set the OTT media house to provide new version of entertainment. Many web and movie which will be produced by Visica films will be released on Caru OTT.

On this occasion, CB Kulkarni, Managing Director of Visica films seemed extremely excited and blissful. He explained that the Production House will not be limited to any single language but will welcome all the different languages and different genres of the film production and Visica Films will also indulge in film releases.

India Resists US Push to Permanently Scrap Digital Tax in Trade Deal Talks

 Amid ongoing India–US trade discussions, India's Commerce Ministry has opposed a clause proposed by the United States that would prevent India from reintroducing digital taxes like the equalisation levy in the future. This development comes as India attempts to ease US concerns over high tariffs and show willingness to cooperate on trade reforms. In March 2025, the Indian government had suggested removing the equalisation levy on digital ads as part of the Finance Bill amendments. However, legal advisers to the Commerce Ministry now advise negotiators not to accept the US's current demand, as it imposes an obligation only on India. According to insiders, the US proposal lacked mutuality—it asked India to commit to not applying digital service taxes but made no such commitment from the American side.   Date:  July 1, 2025 BJP has appointed  Ravindra Chavan , a prominent Maratha leader and four-time MLA from Dombivali, as its new Maharashtra state president.
