Sadhguru Reveals Near-Death Experience and What Led to Second Brain Surgery

 Spiritual leader and Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev recently opened up about the shocking incident that led to his second brain surgery in March 2024. In a personal video shared on Instagram titled  ‘Sadhguru’s Second Brain Surgery – Undisclosed Details’ , the 67-year-old described how a seemingly minor accident became life-threatening. He recounted an incident involving a monkey while he was swimming with his daughter. A monkey approached their house, trying to enter for fruit. His daughter shouted to scare it away, but the monkey charged at her. Instinctively trying to protect her, Sadhguru rushed inside to grab a stick but accidentally slammed his head into a closed glass door at full speed. Celewish Media joined hands with Gold Comedy Awards as Official Celebrity Wish Partner

 

It is that time of the year when celebrities are honored for their performances and contributions to the television industry. Recently, Gold Comedy Awards has held in the city of dreams Mumbai, where several celebrities graced the event.


At the event, the actors who contributed to the comedy genre were honored. Shubhangi Atre, Gaurav Gera, Aasif Sheikh, Sunayana Forzdar, Sayantani Ghosh, and many more were honored at the event. Also, The Kapil Sharma Show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai also bagged awards.

Gold Comedy Awards has been held a month ago but later telecasted at Zee5. In the Award show, many big brands have participated as sponsors. One of them is Celewish Media, which has participated as the Official Celebrity Wish Partner of Gold Comedy Awards.

 Amid ongoing India–US trade discussions, India's Commerce Ministry has opposed a clause proposed by the United States that would prevent India from reintroducing digital taxes like the equalisation levy in the future. This development comes as India attempts to ease US concerns over high tariffs and show willingness to cooperate on trade reforms. In March 2025, the Indian government had suggested removing the equalisation levy on digital ads as part of the Finance Bill amendments. However, legal advisers to the Commerce Ministry now advise negotiators not to accept the US's current demand, as it imposes an obligation only on India. According to insiders, the US proposal lacked mutuality—it asked India to commit to not applying digital service taxes but made no such commitment from the American side.
