Sadhguru Reveals Near-Death Experience and What Led to Second Brain Surgery

 Spiritual leader and Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev recently opened up about the shocking incident that led to his second brain surgery in March 2024. In a personal video shared on Instagram titled  ‘Sadhguru’s Second Brain Surgery – Undisclosed Details’ , the 67-year-old described how a seemingly minor accident became life-threatening. He recounted an incident involving a monkey while he was swimming with his daughter. A monkey approached their house, trying to enter for fruit. His daughter shouted to scare it away, but the monkey charged at her. Instinctively trying to protect her, Sadhguru rushed inside to grab a stick but accidentally slammed his head into a closed glass door at full speed. Aditya Om is a philanthropist actor

 

 

Philanthropy and charity by actors has been in news recently but well known Telugu actor Aditya Om has been silently doing work on rural upliftment since many years. 

Aditya Om who is also known to Hindi audience as actor of critically acclaimed films like ‘ Bandook’ and ‘Alif’ and director of award winning film ‘Maassab’ has adopted Cherupally village in Telangana and is carrying out various awareness and development work there since many years.

 Regular aid to schools in the area, construction of a library, plantation of trees, supporting talented students, spreading digital awareness and centres have been some of his activities. He plans to start an ambulance service this year and work for promotion of sports activities in the tribal areas.

 Aditya Om says to meet the rising expectations of people is a challenge and he wants to guide the youth of tribal areas to their full potential . Aditya Om’s forthcoming films in Hindi are ‘Quota’ ‘Bandi’ and ‘Baghawat’

 Amid ongoing India–US trade discussions, India's Commerce Ministry has opposed a clause proposed by the United States that would prevent India from reintroducing digital taxes like the equalisation levy in the future. This development comes as India attempts to ease US concerns over high tariffs and show willingness to cooperate on trade reforms. In March 2025, the Indian government had suggested removing the equalisation levy on digital ads as part of the Finance Bill amendments. However, legal advisers to the Commerce Ministry now advise negotiators not to accept the US's current demand, as it imposes an obligation only on India.   Date:  July 1, 2025 BJP has appointed  Ravindra Chavan , a prominent Maratha leader and four-time MLA from Dombivali, as its new Maharashtra state president.
